Darkness had come.
Like a black tide it coursed across the lands of man and elf, dwarf and dragon.
The old world was being swept away.
One dark warrior stood against the coming night.
One warrior held the breach between this world and the next.
The blackness of the dark before the dawn.
Alone in the world, his way of life torn from him,
he followed a narrow road prepared for him generations ago.
He spurred toward the dark with death as his companion...
and the land trembled at his coming.
